Jeffrey L. Marshall
Chief Preservation Officer
Jeff is a planner and historic preservationist with over 25 years of combined experience in land protection and historic preservation. He is actively involved in administering the conservation easement and facade easement programs with expertise in the employment of protection strategies for significant resources. He gives public education programs and acts as a preservation advocate throughout the community. Numerous articles have been published on his endeavors in the preservation field.

Laura Baird
Resource Protection Specialist
As Resource Protection Specialist, Laura works with interested landowners to explore the various land conservation strategies available to them, and bring these transactions to fruition. She also works with municipalities to help formulate and implement their Open Space Plans. Laura previously worked as a Community Planner at the Monroe County Planning Commission where she was the Agricultural Land Preservation Program Coordinator.

Sharon Young
Resource Protection Coordinator
Sharon has been with Heritage Conservancy for nine years and has over twenty years of administrative and project management experience. She is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all projects for the Resource Protection Service Area and is also the coordinator for the Conservancy’s Lasting Landscapes strategic initiative.

Susan Myerov, AICP
Senior Planner
Sue has over seventeen years of professional planning experience in both public and private sector positions focusing on a variety of environmental planning and land use projects. She has managed or served as lead planner on diverse assignments including environmental assessments for transportation projects, watershed storm water management plans and comprehensive plans. Sue's current position with Heritage Conservancy involves a range of responsibilities including preparation of river conservation plans, non-point source pollution education and outreach, and assisting municipalities with natural resource protection ordinances.

Karen S. Williamson, R.L.A., C.P.S.I.
Planner/Landscape Architect
Karen is a landscape architect, who has had over 22 years of experience in planning, design and site engineering of single family subdivision and residential developments, park and recreation improvements and commercial and industrial projects. Prior to joining Heritage Conservancy, she worked for Schoor DePalma as Senior Project Manager, where she was responsible for developing their Parks and Landscape Architecture department. Karen has recently completed a publication on green infrastructure and is working on multiple parks and recreation plans for local municipalities.

Brian English
Director of Stewardship
Brian is responsible for all Heritage Conservancy properties. Brian is a trained horticulturist committed to the promotion of native plant ecology and sound environmental practices. After spending 16 years in landscape and nursery operations management, he brings with him extensive experience in guiding property owners toward successful land management strategies.  His current role with Heritage Conservancy focuses on the sustainable management of our varied natural resources, and the preservation of our historic structures.

GRANT APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

Sandra Yerger
Assistant Director of Development
Sandy has managed all aspects of member relations for Heritage Conservancy including planning, organizing and implementing special events, fundraising, educational programming and volunteer activities for seven years. She is currently responsible for much of the Conservancy’s development of community outreach programs that target both private citizens as well as businesses and corporations.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

Mark Donnelly
Systems Manager
Mark joined Heritage Conservancy as a Systems Manager, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the electronic and computer field. Prior to joining the Conservancy, he served as an Electronics Engineer in the weather measurement field, building the first computerized humidity test facility in this area. He supported the Dupont corporate account for Hewlett Packard before moving on to establish and manage the computer service area for Buckingham Computers, where he maintained the Conservancy’s network for seven years as a consultant.

FUNDRAISING TECHNIQUES

Robin Folkerts
Vice President of Development
Robin brings over ten years of fundraising experience, particularly in the field of conservation. Prior to joining Heritage Conservancy, she worked with Wildlands Conservancy, The Philadelphia Zoo, and The Nature Conservancy of Pennsylvania. Robin graduated from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science. Her responsibilities include all fundraising activities, public relations, external communications and marketing of the organization.

BUILDING MEMBERSHIPS & COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Margaret Uliano
Membership & Special Events Associate
Maggie works within Heritage Conservancy's development department, and is responsible for the many aspects of the organization’s membership program.  She is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Conservancy's special events, both fundraising and membership based.  She studied Anthropology, with a focus in Archaeology at Temple University, and then went on to study Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She worked in Alumni affairs at Temple, and most recently as a Pastry Chef in Philadelphia.
