Heritage Conservancy and Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown present:
Clean-up and Invasive Plant Removal
Martins Creek Greenway
Heritage Conservancy and Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown invite volunteers to help us with general trash cleanup and removal of invasive plants to help keep this section of the Martin’s Creek Greenway beautiful and healthy. Individuals, families, scouts, students, organizations and volunteer groups are all welcome!
Time: Be at the meeting location by 9:00 a.m. for orientation and instructions.
Suggestions:Wear boots suitable for walking over uneven and wet & muddy terrain. Bring refillable water bottle, sunscreen and bug-repellent. Leather gloves will also be useful as some of the vegetation will have thorns. Please be aware that the site may have poison ivy, and tics and mosquitoes may be present. As it may be warm, please dress appropriately, in light colored clothes. However, it is recommended that you wear long sleeve t-shirts and long pants, if possible. Additional supplies will be provided, including gloves, bags, and tools. We will have snacks and water and will provide lunch to volunteers at end of the event.
Directions: We will be meeting at the LBCJMA pump station on the corner of Mill Creek Parkway and Willow Drive, Levittown PA 19054. From PA Turnpike Bristol Exit (US-13 N) – Follow the exit ramp to the left to merge onto US Route 13 North (Bristol Pike).
