Meet our new GIS Director!
Meet Our New GIS Director!
Heritage Conservancy is pleased to (virtually) introduce you to our new Director of Geospatial Services, William Brokaw. Bill has over 20 years of experience as an environmental and engineering consultant, working in both the public and private sectors. He has taught geographic information systems (GIS) courses at both Rutgers University and Penn State, and has published GIS-related papers in several publications. Bill also has a strong personal commitment to conservation—he is a long-time member of his township's planning commission and sits on the board of a local watershed group.
Since 1997, Heritage Conservancy has offered high-quality GIS services that help our clients—municipalities, non-profits such as watershed or land conservation groups, and businesses—analyze, manage, and protect the natural and historic resources that it is our mission to preserve. Under Bill, Heritage Conservancy's GIS studio will continue to offer:
- Cartographic design and production: Producing high-quality professional maps using the latest software and techniques.
- Spatial information management services: Taking clients through the entire GIS/information management process, from the initial needs assessment to complete implementation of a GIS.
- Complex spatial analysis: Using GIS software to answer clients' diverse questions about resource quantity or quality throughout a region.
