Located on 198.5 acres, this County-owned facility showcases one of Bucks County's most natural and bucolic landscapes. The facility, built in the 1940's and one of the few remaining publicly-owned turf airports on the East Coast, is surrounded by woods and fields. Its hardwood and pine growth forests and open fields are home to a variety of birds and animals.
Come on out to Van Sant Airport and take a lesson, go for a ride, look over the historic aircraft, or bring a picnic basket and enjoy watching aerobatic maneuvers and Snoopy and the Red Baron!
