As a professor at Delaware Valley University with a Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Sarah Dohle has many field projects in the works. This lecture will focus on some of those, which include:

  • breeding beyond yield with a focus on quality (peppers, squash and tomatoes for flavor)
  • and evaluating feed for animals (deer tolerant soybeans and high protein sunn hemp)

Join us for this informative session and come with questions you may have about sustainable agriculture and the quality of our food systems here in Bucks County and globally.

Free for members and children; $5 for for non-members. Contact Emily at 215-345-7020 ext. 107 or ehart@heritageconservancy.org to register.
