Annual Trash Clean-up at Bristol Marsh Preserve

Monday, January 21

10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Bristol Marsh Preserve
159 Basin Park
Bristol, PA 19007

The Bristol Marsh Preserve is a critical natural feature, serving as a community park and educational area in Bristol Borough.

The Nature Conservancy, Heritage Conservancy and Historic Bristol Borough invite all volunteers to celebrate this special holiday with a trash clean up to help us keep this area beautiful. Individuals, families, scouts, students, organizations and volunteer groups welcome!

Suggestions: Wear boots suitable for walking over uneven and wet & muddy terrain. Leather gloves will also be useful. Additional supplies will be provided. Snacks, water and a light lunch will also be provided. Dress in layers during this time of the year. Please note there are public port-a-johns in the parking lot next to the preserve.

Be at the meeting location by 10:00 a.m.

Directions to meeting location: We will be meeting in the back Bristol Borough parking lot next to the preserve. From northeastern Philadelphia follow Frankford Avenue (US-13) north beyond the city limits into Bristol Borough. From US-13 (Bristol Pike) make right on Bath/Mill Street to the river and turn right into the large Borough parking lot. The marsh preserve is at the south end of the lot. (GPS – use 159 Basin Park, Bristol, PA 19007.)

Please let us know if you plan to come so we know to expect you and can update you on any last minute changes/cancellations due to weather, etc. Contact Susan Myerov, Senior Planner for the Heritage Conservancy, at (215) 345-7020, x 101 or at smyerov@heritageconservancy.org.
